Marybrooke is nestled on the edge of the magnificent Sherbrooke forest in the Dandenong Ranges.

Built in 1940 but recently refurbished, Marybrooke hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions but also offers 20 boutique four star accommodation suites (including a three bedroom Apartment and self-contained Residence).  That means you can get ready onsite before your ceremony and enjoy breakfast with your guests the day after your reception.

The night before

You may want to stay at Marybrooke the night before your wedding – maybe with your bridesmaids in our three bedroom apartment while your partner stays in the Residence we call the ‘boys zone’. You can then use our bridal lounge to get ready on your wedding day while the boys can prepare at the Residence with a late check out.

Why not stay overnight?

With 20 recently refurbished four star luxury accommodation suites able to sleep over fifty people, we can also cater for your guests’ accommodation needs. Breakfast is included in our room rates, and all rooms are located within the Manor. You can download our suite list which shows all our accommodation rooms and prices.

The Residence

Our newly refurbished ‘boys’ zone’, the Residence, is located within the Manor and sleeps up to six people in five beds. With a billiard table, BBQ, large deck and private garden it is an ideal area for the groom to spend the night before their wedding, and is a great accommodation option for the larger family or those willing to share.

Your Ceremony

Your ceremony can be held in our picturesque outdoor garden gazebo with white Americana chairs, red aisle carpet runner and signing table with linen. Alternatively, you may prefer our indoor ceremony area with large windows and a magnificent garden outlook. For your piece of mind it is always available as a wet weather option.

Wedding Packages

You can choose from five wedding packages tailored to your individual needs.  These start at the Silver Package that has all the basics, the Gold Package that has many extras included, and the Platinum Package for an entire weekend wedding festival.  Venue hire DIY an Elopement Packages are also available.

Our in-house menus include Traditional Dining and Shared Table Platter Packages.

Pricing

Each package has a price per adult but the minimum spend requirement varies by day of the week and season, meaning if you have a smaller number of people you want to invite you can make up the minimum spend by including additional items. This enables you to truly design a package to suit your specific needs with added value while avoiding the need for you to invite extra guests.

Pre-Dinner Drinks & Canpés

With spectacular garden views, our reception room will perfectly reflect your elegant style. Predinner drinks and canapés can be provided in the wine garden and on the verandah with the Manor providing a magnificent back drop. PJ’s Restaurant & Bar is right next door to the dining room and is always available exclusively for predinners as a wet weather option.

Taste test our menu

You are welcome to attend PJ’s Restaurant & Bar to taste our food every second Thursday evening (please note, bookings are essential). We offer a delicious, beautifully presented menu with generous portion sizes. Your guests won’t go hungry!
PJ’s is also available for your guests if they want to enjoy a drink before your ceremony. But it will not be open while your reception is underway.

The day after

And of course you can join your guests for breakfast the next day, which is a great way to conclude your dream wedding celebration.

Photo opportunities

Eight acres of manicured gardens mean all your photography needs are catered for within our grounds. Indoors you can also use our heritage drawing room for photographs. It is right next door to our bridal lounge which is available as a retreat for your bridal party to use after your ceremony but before you enter your reception.

Our promise to you

Importantly, we guarantee you will be the only bride and groom onsite, as we only host one wedding a day.  This allows a high degree of personalisation.

Our Restaurant is not open to the public.

And for your wedding night our gift to you is a complimentary night’s stay in our beautiful bridal suite.

We’ll also invite you back to celebrate your first year wedding anniversary as a gift from us.
